Zachary Racine

Zachary Racine is an Orlando-based actor, singer, and educator with a passion for creating meaningful connections through storytelling. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Flagler College and is currently pursuing an MFA in Acting at the University of Central Florida, where he continues to refine his craft and expand his artistic reach.

Zachary’s love for storytelling is most vividly expressed through musical theatre. He has brought life to a variety of roles, including Roger in RENT, Guy in Once, Trent Oliver in The Prom, and many others. His performances are marked by his commitment to authenticity and emotional depth, drawing audiences into each character’s journey.

His talent has been recognized on a national level by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF). Zachary was a finalist for the Irene Ryan Acting Competition in 2018, 2019, and 2024, earning the award for Best Comedic Performance in 2024. Additionally, he served as the national representative for the KCACTF Musical Theatre Initiative, where he had the privilege of collaborating with Broadway professionals and performing at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Since moving to Central Florida, Zachary has appeared in productions with notable organizations such as Orlando Shakes, New Generation Theatrical, Limelight Theatre, and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Each experience has further solidified his reputation as a versatile and dynamic performer who thrives in a collaborative environment.

In addition to his work on stage, Zachary is deeply committed to fostering confidence and trust in rehearsal spaces. His training in SAFD stage combat, theatrical intimacy, and ensemble-building techniques allows him to create a positive and empowering atmosphere for his fellow artists. As an educator, he strives to inspire young performers to embrace their individuality and approach their work with both passion and discipline.

When he's not performing or teaching, Zachary can often be found enjoying a lively card game with friends or attempting to conquer the latest challenge in his favorite video game.
